Reel Wrangler Privacy Policy
Reel Wrangler does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All processing happens entirely on your Mac.

Overview
Reel Wrangler is designed as a privacy-first local processing utility. It works with video files you explicitly select and does not upload footage, metadata, reports, settings, or personal information to any server.
What the app accesses
- Video files you select — only to stitch and export them. Files are read from locations you explicitly open or drag into the app. The app never accesses files outside of what you provide.
- A folder you choose for output — to write the stitched video and optional sidecar report.
- Your Originals folder, if configured — only if you enable the Archive or Trash option for source files after processing.
What the app stores
Your preferences, including output folder, quality preset, gap handling, burn-in mode, and related local settings, are saved locally in macOS's standard UserDefaults system. This data never leaves your device.
What the app does not do
- Does not connect to the internet
- Does not collect analytics or crash reports
- Does not use advertising identifiers
- Does not create an account or require a login
- Does not share any data with third parties
Notifications
Reel Wrangler may request permission to send a local macOS notification when processing finishes. No notification data is sent to any server.
